Training Programme

We currently offer three standard training courses, with the flexibility to design bespoke programs tailored to your specific needs.

3-Day Training Course: EMC Design for Product Engineers

Designed for advanced/senior-level electronics engineers, this comprehensive course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to design products that pass EMC tests on the first attempt.

Course Curriculum:

Covering a wide spectrum of topics, including antenna structures, PCB design, cabling and shielding, grounding techniques, filter design, and digital/analog design. Gain valuable insights into optimal EMC design practices to ensure successful compliance. see details here

2-Day Training Course: Benchtop EMC Test and High-Speed Measurement

Tailored for electronics/design engineers, this course provides practical guidance on utilizing cost-effective measurement kits for benchtop EMC pre-compliance tests. Learn how to navigate common test pitfalls, interpret results effectively, and explore techniques for identifying and locating noise sources in high-speed measurements.

Course Highlights:

Benefit from a blend of theoretical instruction and hands-on demonstrations over two days to enhance learning and application.

Key Features:

Receive in-depth instruction from industry experts, addressing both foundational principles and advanced strategies for achieving EMC optimization. Many demonstrations and case studies distinguish this course.

1-Day Training Course: Introduction to EMC

Ideal for product engineers/managers, design engineers, and electronics engineers seeking an understanding of EMC standards, compliance procedures, and fundamental EMC engineering concepts.

Course Overview:

Gain insights into EMC test standards, uncovering the intricacies behind EMC tests, and effective management of EMC risks. The course features live demonstrations and interactive quizzes to actively engage participants.

There is a high demand for in-house training programme in which we tailor our training materials to meet the specific requirements of our clients. We have seen this demand increase because, historically, EMC has been an afterthought in many companies, and only tested on the last build. This, inevitably, results in last minute changes that in some cases barely fixes the issues and some cases it doesn’t and production launch is delayed. Although consumers don’t “pay For EMC”, changes to the product are constantly happening, and in this dynamic environment, giving as much margin as possible, even at the cost of up front design and parts, is an investment that companies are willing to make to give their business units a little flexibility.

Here at Mach One, we provide in-house training specific for your need. Our clients currently include many tech and design companies who benefited a lot from our training course. Dr Min Zhang didn’t start as an EMC engineer, but rather a motor control and power electronics design engineer. This turned out to be our strength as we can teach you to fix your EMC problems at the design/research stage.

Our training course is authentic, different and better based on our Triangle Model.

Participants who attend the full course will receive a Mach One Design certificate of attendance. This will be presented to you prior to the end of the course wherever possible.

The certificate will show your name, the course title and the dates of the course you attended.
