Project: A package of pre-compliance EMC work
Time scale: 2 working days including a 1-day in-situ test and 1-day technical report
Scope of work:
A laser technology-based equipment, designed for commercial application, requires EMC pre-compliance tests, together with an EMC risk assessment. The scope of the work, therefore, is defined as
- To carry out a system-level EMC risk assessment and document it in a written form.
- To perform “in-situ” pre-compliance tests, which include conducted emission, radiated emission, conducted immunity, radiated immunity, electrical fast transient test and electrostatic discharge tests only.
- Document the test results in a written format.
- To recommend design change so as to ensure the product complies with EMC Directive.
